~30 seconds

Deploy the collector

A small on-prem box (Raspberry Pi or mini-PC class) with a zero-touch auto-installer. Plug it into your management VLAN — it phones home securely.

~3 minutes

Carlo maps your network

CDP/LLDP walks, ARP sweeps, VLAN resolution, and CVE flags — topology and living documentation build themselves, refreshed every 60 seconds.

Approve fixes from the Floor

Carlo triages issues in plain English and stages fixes as clean diffs. You approve behind MFA gates — every change audited, every change reversible.

Ongoing, calmly
Before you start

Everything you need is probably already on your desk.

The collector lives on your network, on your side of the firewall. Your credentials never leave the building.

A small collector box

Raspberry Pi or mini-PC class hardware on your management VLAN. Our zero-touch installer provisions it headlessly — including the local edge LLM.

Read access to your gear

SSH or API credentials for the switches, firewalls, and APs you want watched — Cisco IOS, PAN-OS, UniFi and more. Sealed into the on-prem vault at enrollment.

Read-only is enough for the Free Monitor

About three minutes

That's the honest setup time. Plug in the collector, confirm it on the Floor, and watch the first topology walk land. No professional services required.

Common questions

Asked before you join.

Will Carlo change anything without my approval?

No. On Free Monitor and Pro Execution, every change is staged as a diff and waits for your explicit approval behind step-up TOTP MFA — optionally with a two-man rule so no single admin can self-approve. Autopilot's closed-loop healing is opt-in, scoped to routines you enable, and every action still lands in the audit trail with rollback armed.

What happens if a deployed change breaks connectivity?

Every push arms a 10-minute automatic rollback safety net (a `reload in 10`-style timer). If the device loses connectivity after the change, it restores its previous state on its own — no permanent lockouts. You can also trigger one-click MFA-authenticated rollbacks at any time.

Where do my credentials live?

In the zero-knowledge vault on your own collector — AES-256-GCM encrypted, on-premise. Reveals require fresh step-up MFA, and every reveal is logged in the immutable audit trail. Credentials never leave your building.

Which vendors are supported?

Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Catalyst switches, and UniFi wireless side-by-side today, under one unified API and identical diagnostic routines. Scheduled cloud auto-polling (Meraki/Mist) ships with the Autopilot tier — see the roadmap.

Is the Free Monitor really free forever?

Yes. Complete topological mapping, ARP sweeps, port grids, CVE flags, and read-only AI diagnosis — without ever entering a credit card. Carlo proposes fixes for free; you upgrade only when you want him to execute them.
